Idea Beyond Creative Group Limited and our affiliates, collectively, “Shopbine” hereafter, are delegated in contributing a trusted online community. This Privacy Policy declares what Personal Information we collect, why we collect, who might access the collected data and how we protect the collected data from unauthorised access.

When it comes to decide whether or not to share your information to us, it’s important to understand your rights, evaluate all possibilities and their respective impact to your service/product obtained from Shopbine. Please contact our Delegated Officer to Privacy when in doubt regarding our privacy related practices.

Purpose of the Privacy Policy

This Policy serves the purpose of governing acts of Shopbine, and we also act on behalf of or under instructions of other partners or clients as data controllers, including for processing orders or payments, campaigns and analytics. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for further information regarding the processing of your Personal Information in these situations.

Prevailing practise and privacy code may vary among jurisdictions in which Shopbine operates to comply with local legal requirements and common practises. Such variations may be reflected from part of our solutions and products. Should respective solution and product or public assets contain any privacy related terms or policies due to variation among jurisdictions or effective governing requirement, information stated on such assets prevails. 

Resolving disputes.

You agree to allow us with a grace period of 120 days to review and revise our practise before publishing or escalating the complain. After our Delegate to Privacy Office receives complain, you will be notified with a complain received notification, confirming our acknowledgement and the grace period starts counting on this day.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law due to situation-specific reason, the Law of Hong Kong shall apply to resolve all disputes with regards to any party under any situations. During our operation, if any applicable law contradicts our Privacy Policy, the law governs.

“Personal information” is any  information that relates to an identifiable person. As each customer enroll to different solutions or services, the actual Personal Information categories that Shopbine actually collects may vary among customers. However, in general, Shopbine may collect the following categories of Personal Information; 

 

  • Business contact information, when one work for another entity or operation while using our solutions or products; 
  • Personal contact information, when one acts on his/her own while using our solutions or products; 
  • Digital information, such as browser, website, device, application, network usage and unique specifications, as well as other similar data obtained, detected or recorded by our system. Cookies file is one of the common example. 
  • Purchase and fulfillment information, such as related registration and payment information, delivery or transection address or venue, name and contact information of contact person of such locations and solution or product specific similar information during your use of any Shopbine solutions, products or program.
  • Transaction information of you and transaction counter parties, such as payment account number, the time date and content of transection, remarks or message specified and related information provided by transection counter parties or related third party such as payment handling institutions or courier when we act on their behalf.

Collected Personal Information may be used to;

 

  • Handle your purchase or request, provide solutions or service to you;
  • Setup or handle products or services provided by third party in order to handle your purchase or request;
  • Prevent unauthorised access to your account or verify your idendity;
  • Notice or communicate with you about your enrolled solutions or products, such as order received, changes made to your account,
  • Notice or communicate with you about our service provision, such as  system status, update and maintenance,
  • Share our news or insights with you about products and solutions by Shopbine, our affiliates or partners,
  • Provide you with personalized services, offers, suggestions or insights,
  • As input to generate analysis of usage, service provision, security market insights or any operational aspects of Shopbine, you, our other clients, affiliates, partners and,
  • Understand and predict your preferences or characteristics, related information collected and processed results would be treated as part of your Personal Information if governing law requires,
  • Evaluate, improve and perform business related activities of Shopbine and affiliates,
  • Comply with effective law or requirement,
  • Any other use as specified from our provisions from time to time.

 

Where required under applicable law, your Personal Information can only be used with your explicit consent; as necessary to provide you with our solutions and products; to comply with legal obligation; or when a legitimate and overriding interest that make such use a must. Shopbine and all parties or individual governed by this Privacy Policy honors such requirements.

  • Third party entity with effective order in which Shopbine must comply to. 

 

Your legal rights to Personal Information vary among regulations of your respective jurisdiction, in general you may entitled to, 

 

  • Option to withdraw, or “opt out”, from receiving information for marketing purposes, consent given regarding the use of cookies or other similar methods and the use of your Personal Information as analyses input, anonymised or not, 
  • Obtain a copy of your information that we hold, limit or object to its processing or demand its deletion,
  • Withdraw any given consent or vice versa, 
  • File a complaint to our Delegated Officer to Privacy and applicable authority.

Our website, solutions and services may include features licenced, provided or streamed from networks outside Shopbine, as well as links connecting other external network locations and social media. These features provider may use your Personal Information during your use of these external features and links and you are advised to understand respective Privacy Policies from these providers as this Privacy Policy does not govern entities not owned or controlled by Shopbine.

Solutions and services Shopbine offers are not intended for children under the age of 16.

Shopbine may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time should our practices changed.
